PREPARING FOR YOUR PROCEDURE:

Preparing for your procedure is very important. Once your physician has scheduled your procedure with us and we have entered all your information in our system, you will receive a secure link on behalf of SIS Charts/Exchange via text or email.

This is a convenient and HIPAA secure online registration process.  At your earliest convenience, click on the link and complete your online registration as soon as possible so that our clinical team will have time to review your information prior to your visit.

If you do not have access to a computer or are unable to receive a link via cellular phone or email, please contact our office one week prior to your procedure and a nurse will be able to assist you with your registration.

If applicable, our business office will be reaching out to you to inform you of any financial responsibilities (co-pay, coinsurance, deductible, cosmetic, other non-covered service) you may have which are due on the date of your procedure.   Please note, this information may come to you via email and/or text.

 Stay flexible

Your procedure is currently scheduled to proceed on the planned date, but we also must be flexible to deal with any potential changes regarding our schedule, the capacity of our Center and providers.    We appreciate your understanding if things change.  In return we promise to keep you informed with up-to-date information about what is happening here at CAMIS, as well as keeping your best interests at the forefront.

A COVID-19 PCR test will be requested at the discretion of your physician and/or CAMIS.  This will be based on cold/flu like symptoms or recent exposure to someone who is known to be COVID positive.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your procedure, please contact your Doctor’s office directly.

If you are scheduled to have anesthesia, you must plan for a responsible adult to take you home.  You may not take public transportation home.  A Taxi or Uber is permissible; however, you must be accompanied by a family member or adult friend.

If anesthesia is administered,  a responsible adult must stay with you for 24 hours in the event any problem should arise.

You will receive your time of arrival the day before your procedure between the hours of 2pm-4pm.
